The announcement event, simultaneously streamed on NicoNico Douga and the Alta Vision screen at Shinjuku Station's East Exit, featured musician DAIGO and talent Natsuki Kato representing the entertainment industry's "Eva fans." Dressed in special costumes, they passionately shared their expectations as fans for Evangelion's future developments and the campaign itself.
The campaign centers on three "operations," each offering original Evangelion Noodles, Bottle Head figures, or Bearbrick straps when purchasing designated products. Furthermore, as a highlight, it was announced that a limited run of 25 orders would be accepted for a new theatrical version Evangelion Unit-01 figure, approximately 2 meters tall. Fans can choose between the in-series color and the Seven-Eleven color, with the Seven-Eleven color version unveiled at the venue. Guests were able to walk around behind the figure and touch it, showcasing a level of craftsmanship that fans will find irresistible. The figure will be sold at the unprecedented price of 1.7 million yen (excluding tax). DAIGO remarked, "I want it, but it's a price that requires a meeting. Still, it's worth that quality." Kato quoted a line from the series, saying, "I think 1.7 million yen is worth a laugh," expressing both surprise and excitement at the figure's striking size and price.
The campaign begins on August 7 and ends when prizes run out. The actual, approximately 2-meter-tall figure will be on display at the Seven-Eleven Asakusa Kaminarimon-mae Store from August 7 to 31.
