Cyber Communications Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter cci) announced it will begin offering the premium in-stream ad network "ADJUSTVideo™" starting in October.
ADJUST, operated by cci, is a premium ad network holding advertising inventory centered on high-quality corporate media sites. While it has previously provided in-banner ads—placing video content within banner ad spaces—to meet online video advertising needs, it will now also offer in-stream ads, placing video content before, after, or within video content. In-stream ads, whose demand has grown in recent years, are characterized by placement within the content itself, resulting in high attention rates. Additionally, the larger screen size and audio can enhance brand recognition.
The online video advertising market in the United States expanded to an annual transaction volume exceeding approximately ¥400 billion in 2013 (*). In Japan too, demand for online video advertising is rapidly increasing due to advancements in infrastructure and devices.
