Maruchan "Go for it! Exam Takers Support Event 2015" Kaien-tai and Akamaru Dash☆ perform a live support show

Toyo Suisan held its exam-taker support event, Maruchan "Hang in There! Exam-Taker Support Meeting 2015," on Thursday, January 8th, at the Yoyogi Seminar Tower, with the cooperation of Yoyogi Seminar. This event, held annually since 2008 out of a desire to support exam-takers studying under daily pressure, marked its seventh iteration this year.

Once again, Tetsuya Takeda, who has served as the CM character for "Maruchan Akai Kitsune to Midori no Tanuki" for over 30 years, appeared as a "Special Lecturer" and held a special class for students entering the peak exam season. The special lecture featured episodes from Mr. Takeda's own days as an exam candidate and university student, along with stories about the origins of familiar kanji characters. The lecture, reminiscent of the style of the beloved teacher Mr. Kanpachi, drew the serious attention of the exam candidates.

After the lecture, the idol group Akamaru Dash☆, produced by Takeda and co-starring in the commercials, rushed to offer support and performed a prayer for exam success using original ema votive tablets.

The climax featured a live performance by Akamaru Dash☆ and the Kaien-tai as a rallying cry for the examinees. Akamaru Dash☆ energetically performed "Eat, Laugh, Live On," the CM song for "Maruchan Akai Kitsune to Midori no Tanuki," filling the stage with their spirit. The Kaien-tai passionately sang their famous song "Gift of Words."
