AEA is a business contest targeting Asian venture companies. Organized by the Future Design Center (*), this fifth edition saw participation from 27 venture companies across 14 countries and regions, including Japan. The "GOOD CREATIVE AWARD by DENTSU" focused on communication critical to business, evaluating participating companies' websites from a unique perspective. Its purpose is not to rank winners and losers, but to recognize outstanding aspects beneficial for future business.
Awards were presented in five categories: "Logo Category" went to SoundEye, "UX Navigation Category" to 6Estates, "UX Visual Category" to Monkey Junior, "Text Category" to Repertoire Genesis, and "Naming Category" to Blincam.
On the day, Ms. Nadezhda Kirillova of DENTSU SOKEN INC. Team B and Mr. Tomohiro Katayama of Dentsu Business Creation Center presented the award trophies. They explained the judging criteria for each category and discussed the communication outreach required of venture companies.
The following day, on the 7th, the AEA final session was held at the Keidanren Kaikan in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, where BorderPass from Malaysia won the Grand Prix.
