On October 16, the Japan Sports Promotion Center released a new web content titled "Putting Emotion into Every Note, Playing Music with Your Whole Body" on the sports support site "GROWING: Cheering for All Sports" ( http://www.toto-growing.com/). This content conveys the philosophy of the sports lottery (toto・BIG).

This time, a conversation was held between figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu and pianist Kanon Matsuda, who also performs on the world stage.
Prior to the conversation, Matsuda performed Chopin's "Ballade No. 1."
This piece holds special meaning for both athletes: Hanyu has used it three times in his short programs, including this season, while Matsuda performed it at a recital in her home prefecture of Kagawa and included it on her debut CD.
Hanyu, listening intently, remarked, "I was performing the short program in my head the whole time. I got so nervous, I started sweating."

The two, active in the distinct fields of art and sports, engaged in a deep conversation about what they wish to convey through their performances and programs, beauty, expressiveness, and their future endeavors.
After the conversation, Hanyu remarked, "It reminded me of Russian culture, the origin of my skating. I was also deeply impressed by Ms. Matsuda's courage in moving to Moscow at age six." Matsuda commented, "Hanyu's concentration, performing with his entire being on the ice, is beyond imagination and truly moved me. His sincere attitude and strength gave me tremendous power."
Sports lottery (toto・BIG) stated it will continue to communicate how lottery proceeds support the activities of athletes competing on the world stage.
