Seven-Eleven Christmas Cake This year, King & Prince produces for the first time

Seven-Eleven Japan held an early Christmas cake product launch event in Shibuya, Tokyo, on September 19. The idol group King & Prince, serving as the brand's image characters, made a surprise appearance at the venue. This year, alongside classic Christmas cakes and cakes created in collaboration with popular brands, Seven-Eleven Japan will release two new Christmas cakes produced for the first time by King & Prince. Additionally, a campaign offering limited-edition King & Prince merchandise will be held for customers who pre-order cakes or other eligible products.
At the event, King & Prince members unveiled their first-ever produced cakes: the "Strawberry Kamakura Shortcake" and the "Rich Italian Chestnut Mont Blanc". When asked about the concept, Shō Hirano stated, "We aimed to be the King & Prince of the Christmas cake world," positioning the Kamakura Shortcake as the "King" and the Mont Blanc as the "Prince".

The two cakes brought onto the stage were unfinished, and the members completed them by decorating them with strawberries and chestnuts respectively.
Kaito Takahashi explained his attention to detail for the Kamakura Shortcake: "We used whipped cream for the snow and horizontal lines to express the Christmas feeling, creating a White Christmas while keeping the deliciousness intact." Shota Hirano confidently stated, "It's all about the 'Instagrammable' look that's popular now."
Meanwhile, Ren Nagase spoke about the Mont Blanc: "It's packed with chestnut texture. I focused on making the deliciousness of chestnuts visually apparent too." Yuta Kishi conveyed its appeal: "Mont Blanc has an adult image, but kids can enjoy it too. You can feel chestnuts from every angle."
Yuta Jinguji added, "With a shortcake, you get whipped cream on your cheek. You should try doing the 'it's on your cheek' thing." His sweet fantasy sparked teasing from the members, leading him to demonstrate "it's on your cheek" for the camera. The members playfully remarked, "Truly the nation's boyfriend."
Leader Kishi concluded the event, saying, "Enjoy this Christmas with the Christmas cake produced by King & Prince."

Christmas cake reservations begin September 23rd at all Seven-Eleven stores nationwide and through the delivery service " Seven Meal ".
Purchasing a King & Prince-produced cake guarantees an instant gift of an original two-piece fork set. Those who buy eligible products via the Seven-Eleven app and participate in the campaign will be entered into a lottery to win an original King & Prince snow globe or a QUO card.
Additionally, original King & Prince collaboration products will be sold on Seven Net Shopping within the Seven & i Group's e-commerce site, Omni7.
