Ezaki Glico New TV Commercial Yoshitaka refreshes her fuzzy feelings with "Ice no Mi" (Video included)

Ezaki Glico began airing its new TV commercial for "Ice no Mi" titled "Cool & Refreshing!" on June 10. Actress Yuriko Yoshitaka continues as the image character. Separately from the commercial, the company also released a web video titled "We Asked People Who Haven't Tried Ice no Mi Why They Haven't."

 In the CM, Yoshitaka plays an office worker. She experiences a series of slightly frustrating, yet chuckle-worthy moments: her employee ID card, which she taps at the office security gate as usual, turns out to be the TV remote she brought from home; and she ends up wearing the same outfit design as a male superior she meets in the cafeteria.
Yoshitaka then takes a bite of "Ice no Mi," packed with rich fruit flavor and a satisfyingly cold and creamy texture, resetting her mood. She regains her usual smile.

 

The web video features a roundtable discussion with ordinary people who haven't eaten "Ice no Mi" in a while. The product image described includes "close to eating ice," "watery," and "crunchy."
Monitoring this, Yoshitaka-san makes a surprise visit to the venue with the product in hand. Surprised by her appearance, participants try the "Ice no Mi" she hands them. They show expressions of astonishment at the texture and taste, different from their past memories, and their opinions shift to high praise, with comments like "It's like dessert."
Yoshitaka promptly introduced her recommended eating method: waiting until it becomes slightly soft, saying, "I like it when it's almost melting." She called out to them, hoping they would become fans of "Ice no Mi."
