Dentsu Inc. and S-Cubism collaborate on solution development in the e-commerce domain
Dentsu Inc. has formed a business alliance with Esquivism, which develops and provides e-commerce (EC) solutions for retailers. Moving forward, they will jointly build a new EC platform and develop and provide new solutions and services in this domain.
Today, challenges in EC businesses span diverse areas including customer acquisition methods, sales approaches, content creation, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and omnichannel integration. As a result, an increasing number of companies face issues of operational complexity and rising management costs. Furthermore, the scale and scope of challenges vary significantly among companies participating in EC malls, those operating their own EC sites, and those planning to enter EC.
Given this situation, Dentsu Inc. and S-Cubism are developing an e-commerce solution that can flexibly address the varying company sizes and the scope of challenges in e-commerce operations specific to each customer.
Specifically, they are developing the e-commerce platform "DECIDE (Dentsu E-Commerce Ideal Designing Engine)," which combines modules based on each customer's specific challenges to provide services cost-effectively. Sales will commence in early March.
DECIDE's key feature lies in its ability to combine order data, on-site behavioral data, and advertising placement data into integrated marketing data. It aims to provide a solution with both breadth and depth, bridging the gap between advertising and e-commerce domains (see conceptual diagram below).
Going forward, by connecting with various proprietary data and marketing tools held by the Dentsu Group, it will contribute to maximizing the business synergies pursued by customers.
End
*Omnichannel refers to the integration of all sales and distribution channels, including physical stores and online stores, and the creation of an environment where customers can purchase products consistently across any channel through this integrated sales channel structure.
■ Concept Diagram of "DECIDE"
Based on S-Cubism's original EC package "EC-Orange," it acquires and accumulates data from various external tools. Based on scenarios created by the "DECIDE Controller" (one of the "DECIDE" modules), it automatically controls the selection and delivery of marketing initiatives.
