"ALSOA Skincare" New Web Video Announcement Featuring Mao Asada, who turns 30 this year
Alsoa Headquarters, which operates businesses including cosmetics and health foods, held an online launch event on August 20th for its new skincare series, featuring the facial soap "Alsoa Queen Silver."

The video "Feel Uplifted. SkinUp Care. ~Autumn/Winter Edition~" ( https://www.arsoa.co.jp/で配信 ) features professional skater Mao Asada. It depicts Asada's private skincare time in a "feel uplifted" room.

At the event, Asada appeared on stage wearing the same outfit as in the video, set in a cozy-looking living room set. She shared her thoughts on the shoot and her daily skincare routine.
Regarding the video, where she does skincare while coloring and cooking, Asada said, "I enjoyed the shoot as if I were at home." She explained that coloring, one of her hobbies, involves "sometimes drawing from scratch myself, and I find the process of adding color both soothing and requiring concentration." She added, "Given the times we're in, I finished it colorfully," showing off a flower motif coloring page she completed with delicate coloring.
The set featured her personal mementos—memory photos, a teddy bear, and handmade cushions. Touching on each item's story, she smiled and said, "In the future, I want to live in a home filled with light, just like in the video."

Asada, who has been using the company's products since she was 16, shared, "With more opportunities to wear masks lately, I'm especially mindful about skincare. After sweating, I wash my face with Queen Silver and make sure to moisturize with lotion."
On stage, an instructor from the company demonstrated the ideal lathering technique for cleansing using Queen Silver. Holding the foam that wouldn't fall even when held upside down, Asada expressed surprise, describing its texture as "fluffy and soft." Regarding Queen Silver, which reportedly takes 70 hours to manufacture, she said, "I want to use it while feeling the care of the people who made it." She revealed her recommended skincare routine: "It's a bit luxurious, but I use Queen Silver not just for washing my face, but all over my body. I love how it leaves my skin moist and bouncy."

As a surprise for Asada, a specially made birthday cake appeared on stage, celebrating her upcoming 30th birthday a little early. Asada shared her aspirations: "Until now, my life has been centered around skating, but turning 30 is a chance to start fresh with a renewed mindset." She sent a message: "Times are tough now, but let's all look forward and do our best. And let's lift our spirits with skincare. I'll keep using ALSOA for over 15 years."
On the company's website, viewers can watch the new video alongside the "Spring Edition," "Summer Edition," and behind-the-scenes footage.
