Stop going straight to PowerPoint.
Launch PowerPoint and start typing in text. I think many people create proposals this way. This is an absolutely terrible approach you should never take. Proposals from people who start typing directly into PowerPoint are instantly recognizable. For example, they might contain sentences like this:
