What's the appeal of a character speaking to you in real time on an outdoor large-screen display?
On October 21, 2021, Ponta, the mascot character for the Ponta common point service, appeared on a large outdoor digital screen in Tokyo. Ponta waved to passersby, engaged them in conversation, played rock-paper-scissors, sang, and interacted with people on-site in a two-way communication format. Ms. Kana Misawa (Out-of-Home Media Division) and Mr. Ryo Araki (Business Co-creation Division) of Dentsu Inc., who were involved in this event, share the event's response and the menu that enabled interactive communication.
