Research Boy

The protagonist of the manga "Investigate!! Research Boy" published in the magazine Synapse by Video Research Ltd. is a fourth-year student at Space Research University. Ostensibly, he is an alien who came to Earth to conduct research for his graduation thesis. However, he is actually investigating Earth's media landscape under orders from Marvelous, the universe's greatest acquisition king, who schemes to buy up media across all planets. Yet, he always fails to complete his mission.
