Before entering the world of advertising, I studied journalism and wrote newspaper articles. I hold degrees in both psychology and film, and also have a year's experience working as a photographer. My family composition mirrors that of the multi-ethnic nation of Malaysia itself: while I am of Chinese descent, my relatives include Portuguese, Malay, Indian, Irish, British, German, and American ancestry. My wife is French, and my adopted children have both Indian and Chinese ancestry.
