AC Japan's 2014 Campaign Launches
AC Japan launched its 2014 campaign on July 1. Campaigns including "Nationwide," "Public Relations," "Regional," and "Support" will run until June 30 next year.
The National Campaign features two works under the slogan "Let's nurture warm hearts between people." The adult-targeted piece "Let's Praise Adults Too" (Ad Agency: Dentsu Meitetsu Communications Inc.) uses scenes in family restaurants, construction sites, and conversations between couples to convey that words of praise have the power to inspire motivation and confidence. The children's piece, "Kindness Expands with Imagination" (Ad Agency: Sun-Ad), uses animation to depict a boy imagining flying through the sky, becoming a raindrop, and feeling hurt when teased. It conveys the importance of considering others' feelings. Both pieces will be broadcast and published across television, radio, newspapers, and magazines.

The public relations campaign, conducted by AC Japan—a private nonprofit organization operated by over 1,000 companies and groups on a volunteer basis—aims to promote understanding of its activities through television, radio, newspapers, magazines, and other media. The piece "Let's Think Together. 2014" (Advertising Agency: Dentsu West Japan Inc. Hiroshima Branch) introduces successive catchphrases starting with the 1971 "Let's Think Together." It impresses upon viewers that AC Japan has been delivering messages for over 40 years, wishing for a better society.

Regional campaigns feature seven regions each developing their own themes. Support campaigns cover nine organizations including the AIDS Prevention Foundation, Japan Organ Transplant Network, and Doctors Without Borders. Additionally, the broadcast includes a joint campaign with NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) and the Grand Prix-winning entry from the 10th AC Japan CM Student Awards.
