On August 22, Nippon Cultural Broadcasting gathered reporters at its Hamamatsucho headquarters in Tokyo for a "major announcement" regarding a large-scale project. Speakers included talent Minoru Minowa, President Akihiro Miki, and Director Yoshiyuki Katayose. They announced a unique initiative: for the 720th sale of the sports promotion lottery "BIG" by the Japan Sports Promotion Center on the 23rd, the winner of the first prize of 1 billion yen would be offered "the right to have Nippon Cultural Broadcasting all to yourself for one day."
