Dentsu Inc. Collaborates with JAXA on Hayabusa2 Support Campaign

Dentsu Inc. has been designated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) as the lead company for the Hayabusa2 asteroid probe support campaign.

The company will cooperate with JAXA to enhance collaboration with industry partners for the support campaign and to conduct more effective and efficient public relations activities related to Hayabusa2.

Specifically, various campaigns will be rolled out from the winter of 2014, before the Hayabusa2 launch, through to the winter of 2015, one year later.
First, it will recruit official supporter companies from various industries to support the Hayabusa2 spacecraft, which was publicly unveiled on August 31, and provide comprehensive support for Hayabusa2 promotional activities. To facilitate these activities smoothly, the company has established the "Hayabusa2 Support Campaign Executive Committee" in collaboration with JAXA, effective today.

Official supporters will be granted various rights as participating companies in the support campaign, enabling them to implement campaigns utilizing these rights. The sponsorship funds from each official supporter will be allocated toward Hayabusa2 promotional activities and the committee's operational expenses.
