Ezaki Glico ran the "#ThankYouGiantCone Twitter Campaign" from April 1 to October 31, 2014. This campaign celebrated everyday efforts with Giant Cone ice cream. Participants tweeted about their "hard work" using the hashtag. Each day, one winner was selected by lottery to receive a Giant Cone ice cream featuring a message card from the campaign's image character, Haruka Ayase.

On December 14, the "Thank You! Giant Cone" award ceremony was held at Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo to conclude the campaign. This event presented trophies to five winners selected by lottery from tweets submitted between September 1 and October 31.
Ms. Ayase, dressed in a Christmas-themed outfit, took the stage decorated with a tree inspired by the Giant Cone. Saying "Presenting is nerve-wracking," she handed the winners trophies shaped like the product, saying "Good job!" The five winners appeared deeply moved as Ayase spoke to them directly. Their winning tweets for the campaign included: "Working hard on Saturdays too! Finished strong!" and "(Even though I've never filleted fish before) I filleted 25 small horse mackerel!"

Ayase reflected, "I was able to work healthily and enjoyably again this year," adding, "It makes me happy when people say 'Good job!' to me too. I want to send a message to everyone working hard." Regarding her aspirations for next year, she personally wrote the character "楽" (raku, meaning "joy" or "ease") and displayed it. She explained its meaning as "I want to enjoy both work and play" and "Let's take it easy sometimes." Her self-evaluation of the calligraphy as a 35 out of 100 drew laughter from the audience.
