Dentsu Inc. New Year's Party, Splendid Once Again This Year
Dentsu Inc. annual New Year's reception, a traditional event, was held in five cities nationwide: Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sapporo. The Tokyo event took place on the 9th at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo in Chiyoda Ward, welcoming approximately 4,200 invited guests, including advertisers, media representatives, political and business leaders, sports figures, and ambassadors from various countries.
At the venue, guests freely enjoyed food and drinks while exchanging New Year's greetings in a relaxed atmosphere. New Year-themed events were also prepared, including stalls from long-established restaurants, a banana auction, a rake and daruma doll market, fortune-telling booths, and lion dances.
A "2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic PR Corner" was also set up, featuring VTRs introducing the sports and a photo opportunity with boxer Ryota Murata.
In addition to zodiac earthenware bells, attendees received 'A HAPPY NEW VISION '15', supervised by DENTSU SOKEN INC. This publication features New Year's calligraphy pieces by 15 prominent foreigners residing in Japan, expressing their proposals for the country. It is compiled as one of the project booklets for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
