Dentsu Inc. in collaboration with the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, celebrated both the "Coming of Age Day" on Monday, January 12 (a national holiday), honoring those turning 20 this year, and the 2,020-day countdown to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games (hereafter Tokyo 2020). That evening, At Dentsu Inc. headquarters building in Shiodome, Tokyo, a blind emoji—a technique that creates characters by opening and closing blinds installed across the entire seaward wall—displayed a 2020-day countdown message. This message conveyed congratulations to the new adults and wishes for the success of Tokyo 2020.
