JIAA renamed to Japan Interactive Advertising Association

The Japan Internet Advertising Association (JIAA) held its 2015 Annual General Meeting on June 4th, changing its name to the "Japan Interactive Advertising Association" (abbreviation remains unchanged). It also elected Yoshio Takada (Managing Executive Officer, Dentsu Inc.) as the successor to Chairman Ryuhei Akiyama (Dentsu Advisor).

JIAA was established in 1999 as a forum for discussing the formation of the internet advertising market. This name change reflects the broadening business domains of its members and the global business environment of internet advertising. Aiming for the sound development of the internet advertising market and the enhancement of social trust, it will promote activities such as guideline formulation, research, and awareness campaigns.
