Yahoo! JAPAN, the operator of Yahoo! JAPAN, will hold the "Yahoo! JAPAN Internet Creative Awards 2015," marking its 10th anniversary this year.
Launched in 2006, the award aims to discover and support talented creators while contributing to the development of the internet creative market. Recognizing the shift in device environments where users access the internet not only via PCs and smartphones but also through tablets, TVs, wearable devices, and other screens, this year's award features categories designed for multi-device compatibility.
The submission period runs from July 17 to August 24, 2015. Entries will be accepted across six categories, divided into the "General Division" for works created by the general public (professionals and amateurs alike) and the "Corporate Division" for works utilized by companies and organizations for branding or promoting products/services.
The announcement of works nominated by the judges is scheduled for mid-October. Following the nomination announcement, a final judging round will be conducted by a panel of 10 leading Japanese creators with deep expertise in multi-device design. The results announcement and awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 15.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary, special content reflecting on nine years in the web industry will be released starting July 17.
