Yamato Holdings and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organizing Committee signed a sponsorship agreement on August 10, designating the company as an Official Partner of the Games. The contract category is "Baggage Transportation Services."
Masaki Yamauchi, President of Yamato Holdings, commented: "We aim to support the realization of the Games' vision of the greatest Games in history through our uniquely high-value-added logistics. Furthermore, we will contribute logistically to creating legacies and services that allow visitors to Japan to enjoy the country hands-free, thereby spreading hospitality and economic benefits to regional areas."
Currently, 13 companies have been confirmed as the highest-tier Gold Partners for Tokyo 2020 sponsorship, and this company is the fourth to become an Official Partner.
