Yoshida became president in 1947. He dedicated himself to modernizing advertising in postwar Japan and was known as the "Advertising Demon." His foresight, dedication, and pioneering spirit—spanning the transparency of advertising transactions, the realization of commercial broadcasting, the introduction of PR, marketing, and the account executive system, the enhancement of creativity, the organization of advertising-related associations, and the internationalization of the advertising world—live on today.
His office displays his handwritten 'Ten Commandments of the Dentsu Inc. Demon,' letters to executives written from his sickbed, and his death mask, allowing visitors to sense the spirit of Yoshida, who devoted his life to advertising.
