A wristwatch becomes a turntable! DJ play video surpasses 250,000 views

Seiko Watch's web movie "Watch DJ," released on August 25, has surpassed 250,000 total views (*) in about two weeks, generating significant buzz.

The movie visualizes the innovative and stylish world of the world's first GPS solar watch, the "Seiko Astron." It features renowned disc jockey DJ MITSU THE BEATS, who uses the Astron as a turntable to perform DJ sets.

When he performs using the watch face, his movements are transmitted to the turntable, playing music.

Due to the significant response from both domestic and international audiences following the movie's release, the official website began streaming the making-of video "MAKING of Watch DJ" on September 7. The video delves behind the scenes of the production, covering the creation of sensors linking the watch and turntable, and the mechanism synchronizing the watch hands with the turntable to minimize scratching errors when manipulating the music.
