The New MINI Convertible Makes Its World Debut — MINI Japan (TMS)

MINI Japan, part of the BMW Group, exhibited at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show (October 29 - November 8, Tokyo Big Sight). The New MINI Convertible made its world premiere, while The New MINI Clubman made its Asian debut.

The open-top four-seater New MINI Convertible is a model that perfectly balances MINI's distinctive appearance with high-quality elegance and sportiness. Beyond the open-air driving experience of a four-seater, it pursues sportiness, efficiency, comfort, functionality, safety, connectivity, and the quality of materials and finish.

It delivers the signature MINI sporty driving experience while featuring premium materials and comprehensive equipment befitting the premium compact segment.
Sales in the Japanese market are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2016.

The New MINI Convertible

The New MINI Clubman has been elevated in both quality and size, becoming a completely new model distinct from previous MINIs. It achieves an emotional design focused on detail, along with significantly enhanced interior comfort and functionality. Its driving performance also delivers the signature MINI sporty feel. Its unconventional design, featuring split rear doors that open like a folding screen, is another key characteristic. An optional hands-free system is available to open both doors.
Sales began after its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show.
