On May 2nd during Golden Week, the Paralympic experience event "NO LIMITS SPECIAL GINZA & TOKYO" was held on Ginza Central Street in Tokyo. This event was a special edition of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Paralympic experience program "NO LIMITS CHALLENGE."
At the opening ceremony held on the main court in the 1-chome area, following a wheelchair dance performance, Tokyo Governor Yoichi Masuzoe stated, "The Paralympics possess tremendous power to change society. I hope you will discover the appeal of the Paralympics and share your experiences from watching the events with your family and friends."

Host Junko Kubo introduced the participants. From wheelchair tennis, London Paralympic gold medalist Shingo Kunieda, Yui Uchi, the youngest player ever to achieve the wheelchair tennis doubles Grand Slam, and Athens doubles gold medalist Satoshi Saida appeared. From wheelchair rugby, Daisuke Ikezaki, who has secured his spot for Rio 2016, also made an appearance.

Following that, the event's highlight demonstration took place. In wheelchair tennis, players like Uechi and Saita appeared, unleashing a barrage of super shots. In wheelchair rugby, players like Ikesaki showcased world-class, intense tackles, thrilling the crowd.
Furthermore, in the 2-chome area, exhibits showcasing the appeal of the Paralympics, including sports equipment, were set up. Booths offering hands-on experiences in wheelchair basketball, track and field, powerlifting, boccia, and blind soccer were also available. A raffle offering prizes like original T-shirts was held for participants. The 22,000 attendees were captivated by Paralympic sports right in the heart of Ginza.
