Dentsu Inc., DLX, and WHITE jointly develop world's smallest smartphone VR goggles

Dentsu Inc., DLX, and WHITE have jointly developed the "Micro VR Kit," one of the world's smallest smartphone VR goggles (*1). In addition to general sales, its lightweight and compact design makes it suitable for use as promotional items and other sales promotion initiatives.

This product is a simple paper-based smartphone VR goggle. Users can easily experience VR content simply by attaching their smartphone to the main unit.

Its most significant feature is its dramatically lighter and smaller size compared to conventional smartphone VR goggles. Developed under the "ORIGAMI" concept, the paper body features an accordion-like structure that folds down to a palm-sized, world-class compact size of approximately 7 x 2 x 6 cm.

It also employs the same lenses as WHITE's "Milbox" VR goggles, which hold "WWGC certification (*2)". Despite its compact size, it delivers an immersive experience comparable to standard smartphone VR goggles.

(*2) Works With Google Cardboard certification. This certification is issued to simple VR goggles that meet quality standards independently set by Google Inc. in the U.S., covering "safety," "functionality," and "usability." By performing setup using a QR code, Google Cardboard-compatible apps can be optimized for the goggles.
