Dentsu Inc. Collaborates with Suchadara Pa to Produce Disaster Prevention Song "That Day, That Moment"
― Contributing to Improving Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Capabilities Through Learning via Song ―
Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshihiro Yamamoto) announced today that its internal project "+Sonae Project" has collaborated with rap group " Sucharadapā※" (Agency: Melody Fair; President: Nobuyuki Kato) to produce the disaster prevention song "That Day, That Moment," featuring a video to make learning about disaster prevention accessible. The song was released on YouTube today.

The "+Sonae Project" was launched in June 2015 to address the field of disaster prevention and mitigation—where swift societal response is increasingly vital due to the recent frequency and severity of natural disasters—from the perspective of everyday people. The concept of "+Sonae" means adding the awareness of "preparedness" to daily life. It promotes projects that enhance disaster preparedness for emergencies by taking an approach that naturally increases safety and security within everyday living.
The new disaster prevention song "That Day, That Moment," featuring rap by Schadaraparr, aims to heighten awareness of stockpiling supplies for natural disasters and encourage appropriate actions. It will be utilized at disaster prevention events and on websites going forward.
Through this song, we hope to contribute to raising disaster preparedness awareness in society and improving disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities.
