Recruit Holdings announced on May 30 that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games,becoming an Official Partner of Tokyo 2020.
The contract category is "Human Resources Services & Online Learning and Education Services," withthe agreement period running until the end of December 2020.
Masumi Minegishi, President of Recruit Holdings,stated, "Leveraging the expertise we have cultivated since our founding in 1960 in the fields of recruitment and education/learning, we aim to contribute to the success of the Games through personnel recruitment, hiring, and training/education for the Games' operations." Yoshiro Mori, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, commented, "With the company's cooperation, I am confident that they will support us as a partner in building a society where not only the Tokyo Games themselves succeed, but also where the people involved in the Games can continue to thrive as a legacy even after the Games conclude."
