For three days only during Christmas! Enjoy "Chicken McNuggets" at a special price

McDonald's Japan will run its "Christmas Campaign" from December 23rd to 25th, offering its popular side menu item, the 30-piece Chicken McNuggets (regular price ¥1,140), at a special price of ¥750. Ahead of this, on the 21st, the company held a press conference at its Tokyo facility, where the comedy trio Dacho Club, newly appointed as promotional ambassadors, made a surprise appearance.
The company has already been selling 15-piece Chicken McNuggets for ¥390 (regularly ¥570) since December 6th (scheduled until early January). Furthermore, they are offering two limited-time sauces to accompany the nuggets: the "Dream Lobster Sauce," a mayonnaise-based sauce containing lobster extract, and the "Luxury Cheese Fondue Sauce," featuring wine as a secret ingredient.

Ueshima Ryuhei, who loves McNuggets, beamed, "I'm truly happy to be chosen as the ambassador for McNuggets, which I've loved since I was a kid." Leader Higo Katsuhiro also expressed his joy, saying, "I've become a dream ambassador. We're thinking of changing our name from 'Ostrich Club' to 'Chicken McNugget Club'. That's how much we feel about it." Regarding the special price, he added, "We have a big family, so this is definitely what we'll have for Christmas."

After tasting the new sauces, the trio raved, "So delicious!" and "Yum!" Jimon Terakado commented, "The lobster sauce is a dream come true, something we've never had before. The cheese fondue sauce really packs a cheese punch and will be a big hit with kids. It's rich in umami with a great aftertaste." Katsuhiro Higo also agreed, saying, "This is addictive, isn't it?" as he kept reaching for more.

As the group got excited tasting the sauces, the elusive sauce hunter "Mysterious Thief Nuggets" appeared dashingly dressed as Santa. He declared to the Ostrich Club, "I've come to get you as promotional ambassadors!" which led to bickering between the two, "We didn't hear about this~!" However, when Phantom Thief Nuggets tasted the new sauce, he beamed, "This is a definite choice for Christmas this year!" Everyone then performed their routine, "Friends, we've~ made~," bringing things to a grand finale.

Finally, Mr. Higo appealed, "This Christmas, enjoy a 'Nugget Party' at home with our special price!" Phantom Thief Nuggets struck a pose, declaring, "Get your Christmas with Chicken McNuggets!"
