Yuasa Corporation Launches New E-Commerce Site "Growing Navi"
On May 23, Yuasa Corporation, a diversified specialized trading company handling industrial equipment and machinery, launched its B2B e-commerce site " Growing Navi " for its sales partners.
True to its catchphrase, "Everything you want, all in one place," this new service features the company's extensive product lineup and robust search functionality.
A launch event was held the same day at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo in Minato Ward.

President Hiroyuki Tamura stated regarding the new site, "It enables a complete workflow from product search to order placement and shipment confirmation. It aims to significantly streamline order processing for both our customers and the company, while also enhancing information dissemination capabilities."

He highlighted features such as "a broad product lineup ranging from hand tools to large construction machinery," "search capability based on product specifications," and "the ability to specify required parts using exploded diagrams." He expressed the desire to evolve this into a new distribution platform built collaboratively by the three parties: customers, suppliers, and the company itself.
He added that while product ordering on the site is limited to the company's sales partners, the search function is available on an open site accessible to non-sales partners as well, encouraging its use to expand business opportunities with end users.

The site launches with inventory from 300 companies and approximately 2 million items. Executive Officer Nobuyoshi Takahashi stated, "We aim to increase the product lineup by about 1 million items annually going forward."
Finally, President Tamura referenced the mid-term management plan "Growing Together 2020," expressing his aspiration: "We want to be of greater service to everyone by dedicating the time saved through operational efficiencies achieved by this site to sales activities like solution proposals and by leveraging our coordination capabilities."
