Dentsu Inc.'s Regional Innovation Center Regional Revitalization Office will hold the "Regional Revitalization Seminar 2018 Autumn" at Dentsu Inc. Hall in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on September 25.
The Revitalization Office is actively working to become a partner in solving various problems faced by regions nationwide. In March 2018, it held a seminar to present the findings of its "Survey on the Actual Conditions of Returning Migrants" as a starting point and hint for promoting return migration.
This time, the seminar will introduce and propose case studies on expanding the population connected to a region through sports and entertainment, developing local businesses, and creating employment.
The program will feature seminars using specific examples such as "Hokkaido Ballpark" (Dentsu Inc. Sports Bureau), "eSports" (Japan eSports Federation), and the "TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION Regional Revitalization Project" (W TOKYO).
Approximately 200 participants are expected, including representatives from local governments, DMOs (corporate organizations promoting regional tourism), media, and private companies.
