AOKI Holdings, primarily engaged in the fashion business, signed a sponsorship agreement with the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee on October 11th and was designated an Official Supporter of Tokyo 2020.
The contract category is Business & Formal Wear.
President Akihiro Aoki commented, "As we celebrate our 60th anniversary, we have grown by providing high-quality products, primarily business and formal wear, under the concept of 'creating joy for people.' For the Tokyo Games, we want to contribute by helping people comfortably endure Japan's hot summer through the wear in our contracted category."
Group company AOKI has also been an Official Partner of the Japan Equestrian Federation and the Japan Sailing Federation since 2018, supporting both Olympic sports.
Organizing Committee Chairman Yoshiro Mori commented, "The company has deep ties with us, having designed and produced the official uniforms for the Japanese delegation at this year's PyeongChang Winter Olympics, and also providing the official wear for the bid delegation during the 2013 bid campaign. We are very pleased to have their cooperation for the Tokyo Games as well."
