A site compiling radio station information "Radiko News" has launched

On December 18, radiko—which provides radio streaming services online—launched "radiko news" ( https://news.radiko.jp ), an article portal site. This site introduces news and program information from participating commercial radio stations and radiko itself.

The site integrates two functions: "Radio Info," which displays program information from participating stations, and "Radio Information" (radiko blog), radiko's own information page. This aims to deliver information to a wider audience.
It enhances user-friendly article readability, information aggregation capabilities, and functions as an information dissemination site.

Content consists of articles from participating radio stations and original pieces by the Radiko News editorial team. It is categorized and presented clearly by genre, including news/reporting, variety, music, sports, events, and interviews.
We've also established pathways allowing users who read an article to immediately listen to the featured radio program on Radiko. Furthermore, we are promoting the distribution of articles to external media to communicate the appeal of radio to a wider audience. Additionally, we plan to feature articles distributed by each station on their own media, with plans to further enrich the information going forward.

■Radiko Overview (as of December 2018)

        (Broadcasting on Channels 1, 2, and FM/Experimental)
Daily Unique Users: Approximately 1.3 million
Premium (Area-Free Listening: Radiko Premium) Members: Approximately 550,000
