Georgia Japan Craftman Light Sugar Launch Event Ms. Hirose and others perform a song supporting young workers

Japan Coca-Cola launched "Georgia Japan Craftman Light Sugar" on June 17, offering a refreshing richness with a subtle sweetness. The following day, June 18, a launch event was held at Spiral Hall in Minato Ward, Tokyo.

Following the screening of the TV commercial "What It Means to Be a Senior," which began airing nationwide on the 18th, actress Alice Hirose, who plays the senior role in the commercial, appeared as a guest.
Hirose slowly savored the new product, commenting, "Because it uses cold-brewed coffee, it has a gentle mouthfeel, a transparent richness, and is incredibly refreshing. I'd want to drink it when memorizing a script or needing to calm down before an important scene. Since it's in a PET bottle, it's easy to carry around during filming jobs with lots of travel."

Regarding the commercial, which depicts a typical interaction between a senior and junior colleague during a company meeting, she shared a filming anecdote: "For the 'funny face' shot, I felt embarrassed but ended up going overboard as I got carried away." She smiled and added, "I thought it was a commercial that felt like me. I wanted to be demure, but it was surprisingly hard to pull off."

Supporting the event were members of Georgia's social campaign " Georgia Workers' Song," which encourages people finding fulfillment in their daily work through original songs. Attendees included comedian Kazuki Iio from the duo "Zun," rapper R-Shitei from "Creepy Nuts," and singer-songwriter idol Chiaki Mayumura. On stage, Hirose joined the unit for one day only to perform the original song "You're Amazing!" in support of young workers.

Hirose, who participated with tambourine and backing vocals, remarked, "I was more nervous than ever before." Iio, who reportedly underwent intensive vocal training in the green room before the performance, drew laughter by recalling how all his singing scenes were cut from a musical he appeared in 12 years ago: "I thought I shouldn't get in the way. 'You're amazing!'—I was saying that to myself over 80% of the time."
R-Shitei explained the song's concept: "We made it a gentle song affirming working youth to just be themselves."

After their performance, the four toasted with the new product. R-Shitei offered a message: "Everyone's hard work is helping someone. Let's remember that and keep pushing forward together!" Mayumura added, "I hope people my age who've started working and are doing their best will drink Georgia and keep striving."
Iio shared, "Even after landing a job I love, I sometimes find myself on location in the middle of a rice field, looking up at the sky and thinking, 'What am I doing here?' It's not always fun, but I hope you'll find the joy in it while remembering that's just part of the job." Hirose also commented, "No matter what job you do, there might be tough or painful times. But if you push through them, you'll gain an unparalleled sense of accomplishment."
