The "Monday-Only Refrigerator" Appears! Eat Giant Corn on July 1st for a Happy Charge!

Ezaki Glico installed a "Monday-Only Refrigerator" inside the central ticket gates of JR Shinagawa Station from June 25 to July 1 as part of a promotion for its long-selling Giant Cone ice cream.

The Giant Cone TV commercial featuring actress Haruka Ayase conveys a message of appreciation—"You've worked hard!"—to people diligently managing work and household chores daily. It has been well-received since its 2014 broadcast.
This promotion, themed "Charge up your Monday with Giant Cone!", encourages people to eat Giant Cone on Monday, the start of the week, to energize their week. The refrigerator door will open only on July 1.

During the event on the 1st (noon to 8 PM), the refrigerator door will open. Participants who follow the Giant Cone official Twitter account and retweet the designated tweet can enjoy a Giant Cone on the spot for their Happy Charge. (Event ends when supplies run out)
The dining area will feature photo spots, including a giant Giant Cone display.

 Inside the refrigerator installed on the 25th, Giant Corns are neatly displayed, but tapes with countdown messages like "Closed until Monday! Only 6 days left until Monday!" are affixed. Additionally, handwritten messages and videos from Ayase call for Happy Charge, drawing the attention of people passing through the station.
