Rugby World Cup Fan Zones also offer plenty of fun

During the Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan tournament, which kicked off on September 20th, official event spaces called "Fan Zones" will be set up in each host city throughout the tournament period. These zones offer free admission and entertainment for everyone, regardless of whether they have match tickets.

The Fan Zones will feature public viewings of matches on large screens, booths from tournament partners and sponsors, food and drink offerings, and PR booths for participating nations and local areas. They promise to be places where everyone, transcending nationality, gender, or which team they support, can share their love for rugby while enjoying the anticipation before matches and the afterglow afterward.
Among international rugby fans, it's customary to get pumped up at the Fan Zone before heading to the match venue.

On opening day, many fans lined up waiting for the "Fan Zone in Kanagawa/Yokohama" (Minato Mirai/Rinko Park) to open.
Yokohama is the birthplace of rugby in Japan and is home to one of the match venues, Yokohama International Stadium.
This venue is the largest facility among the fan zones nationwide and will be open primarily on weekends until November 2nd, when the final match takes place.
The venue offers stage events showcasing Japanese culture and a corner where visitors can enjoy rugby play in a game-like format, providing entertainment beyond just public viewing.
