Dentsu Inc. is recruiting participants for its conference "Nordic Open Innovation Report: How to Start New Businesses in the 'Sauna Style' (January 27), designed for Japanese corporations exploring new ventures.

While the importance of "open innovation" has long been recognized in new business development, collaborations with startups often face cultural barriers, and successful cases remain relatively scarce.

This conference will introduce the ecosystem of Finland, a leader in open innovation, covering its cultural, geopolitical, and economic background, along with examples of addressing social challenges. Furthermore, a panel discussion will feature Japanese corporations that have visited Finland, sharing their findings and how to apply them to business in Japan. Participants will explore approaches to open innovation and new business development utilizing their own assets from various perspectives.
