Mynavi Job Change New TV Commercial Takeuchi and Sugisaki in "May Tomorrow Be Your Turning Point!" (Video Available)

Mynavi's comprehensive job-hunting information site "Mynavi Job Change" held a press conference in Tokyo on January 8th, the day before the launch of its new TV commercials scheduled to begin airing on January 9th.

In 2018, the company launched a campaign supporting job changes (and job changers), which sometimes carried negative connotations, under the slogan "Yes! A New Way of Life." Since then, as society's view of job changes has become more accepting, the job change rate has been increasing, particularly among the younger generation in their 20s. Furthermore, under the concept that "Work Style = Way of Life," more young people desire to "change their work style to fit their lifestyle."
In 2020, the company launched a new catchphrase, "May tomorrow be your turning point," and started a new CM campaign to support those changing jobs with positive intentions.

Actor Ryoma Takeuchi and actress Hana Sugisaki were appointed as the new image characters. Three episodes of the "May Tomorrow Be Your Turning Point" series were broadcast.
Sugisaki, contemplating a career change, meets Takeuchi at a bus stop on a rainy day. While Takeuchi interprets the "weather" as a "turning point" and compares life's excitement to eel with sansho pepper, Sugisaki shares her thoughts on changing jobs and sometimes dismisses the idea. Their refreshing yet comical banter and acting are highlights. Just like wishing for "Tomorrow, let the weather be fine," the campaign supports the idea that changing jobs can make tomorrow a better day.

Takeuchi and Sugisaki rushed to the venue and held a talk session.
Regarding the commercial, they commented: "Shooting was fun, and it turned out to be a warm yet chuckle-worthy CM," and "Takeuchi-san's character, trying to be cool but coming off a bit odd, is hilarious." When asked about pivotal moments, Takeuchi shared an experience from his high school trip to Hawaii: "I spontaneously danced at the Polynesian Cultural Center and received thunderous applause from over 500 people. That's when I realized the joy of expressing myself in front of others." Sugisaki answered, "When I was in middle school, I struggled between joining a club or auditioning for an agency to pursue entertainment."

Takeuchi's resolution for this year is "not to fall asleep on the sofa," emphasizing the importance of sleep. Sugisaki announced hers is "to value mealtimes," aiming to prioritize high-quality, balanced meals even amidst a busy schedule.
Playing on the CM's catchphrase, the two challenged themselves to draw faces on teru teru bozu (paper dolls for good weather). Their "unique" creations brought a warm smile to the venue.
Finally, they offered encouragement for career changes: "Life's turning points and opportunities are often hard to notice, but don't miss them—seize them." "Taking a new step requires courage. Turn your fears into fuel and give it your all." They wrapped up the presentation with a refreshing message.
