Makita Web Video Series Part 2 "Robot Rui" Edition Featuring Rui Hachimura Released (Video Included)

Makita has been featuring basketball player Rui Hachimura as its brand ambassador since March 2020, releasing web videos starring Hachimura.

On March 27, the second installment, the approximately 50-second "Robot Rui" edition, was released on a special website and the official YouTube channel. Similar to the first installment, Rui Hachimura moves dynamically to an original song written by rapper KEN THE 390.
Equipped with Makita's 40Vmax battery, Hachimura activates as a robot emerging from smoke and delivers spectacular plays on the court. By linking Hachimura's power and speed to the strength of the power tools using the same battery, the video expresses the battery's high output and high durability.
