UQ Communications began airing a new TV commercial for "UQ mobile" titled "The Me-Group People" on September 1. This commercial marks the fourth full year of the "Three Sisters Series."
The familiar trio of sisters appears: Kyoko Fukada (eldest sister), Mikako Tabe (second sister), and Mei Nagano (youngest sister).
Set to the 1980s RATS&STAR classic "The Me-Group People," Pink Gacha (Mom) and Blue Muku (Dad) dance energetically against a backdrop of fireworks-like lights and blue mannequins. The three sisters, dressed in gorgeous happi coats, hold a banner adorned with a giant "UQ" decoration and coolly look straight at the camera. Then, in sync with the lyrics "♪ Forever 1480 Yen!", the three sisters pose together with peace signs, introducing "Forever 1480 Yen per month" (for the second and subsequent devices with the UQ Family Discount).
Watch for the sisters' cool expressions against the primary-color world and their perfectly timed posing to the instantly recognizable tune.

The commercial can be viewed on the official YouTube channel and the company website. The making-of footage and interviews can be viewed here.
