Morinaga Confectionery Web Video A.B.C-Z Takes on Ice Suspense

Morinaga Confectionery released the web video "Ice Suspense: Five Mysteries" (3 minutes) featuring the idol group A.B.C-Z on October 5th on its campaign special website andofficial YouTube channel.
The company is currently running the "Ice Suspense ~Minus 7°C Love (Trap)" mystery-solving campaign to convey the appeal and deliciousness of "The Crepe" and "Chocolate Bar Ice Cream." This project challenges viewers to solve five mysteries posed in the video using clues hidden on both products' packaging and elsewhere.

The video is set in a sealed room with no exit.
Members who were in the waiting room during the "The Crepe" and "Chocolate Bar Ice Cream" commercial shoot suddenly lose consciousness. When they come to, they find themselves trapped in a dimly lit, sealed room. A thermometer on the wall reads "-7°C." The five begin searching for clues to escape the room.
Suddenly, a sinister voice echoes from nowhere: "How are you all feeling, gentlemen?" Ignoring pleas like "Let us out already!", the voice continues, "The important thing... it lies within you." Each member searches their pockets and finds a piece of paper with a puzzle written on it. There are five puzzles in total. Along with the voice saying, "Find the key to escape" and "The time limit is until you freeze solid," the room temperature steadily drops. Can A.B.C-Z solve the five puzzles and escape? And what is the final answer they arrive at...!?

When asked about the product in an interview, Ryoichi Tsukada raved, "Honestly, the satisfyingly crisp texture of the chocolate ice cream bar, like my abs, is irresistible. And of course, the taste too!" Hikaru Kawai added, "I've loved crepe ice cream since I was a kid, and when I tried The Crepe, it was incredibly delicious—I love it!"
The five members shared, "We're challenging ourselves with authentic suspense acting. Please join the campaign and try solving the mysteries presented in the videos."
