Dentsu Macromill Insight, Inc.'s Yasushi Naito to Speak at "ProductZine Day 2024 Summer" on August 30

Mr . Yas ushi Naito of Dentsu Macromill Insight, Inc. will speak at " ProductZine Day 2024 Summer" (hosted by the ProductZine Editorial Department, Shoeisha), held on Friday, August 30, with the theme "The Reality of Product Management." This event marks the first time it will be held in person. The venue is Kanda Myojin Hall.

Mr. Naito will speak during Session 3: "Product Development Starting with Customer Understanding" (14:20–14:40). He will introduce research methods for understanding customers in product development and share specific success stories.

Product Development Starting with Customer Understanding

In today's world where products and services are increasingly specialized and diverse, there is a growing demand for "products and services that truly understand and align with the customer's (or user's) perspective and circumstances." Achieving this requires a deep "understanding of the customer." Dentsu Macromill Insight, Inc. provides ongoing support for developing products and services that align with customer and user perspectives and circumstances, based on "customer understanding" gained through research. This session will introduce several research methods for gaining customer understanding in product development, along with concrete success stories.

【Speaker Profile】


Dentsu Macromill Insight, Inc. Research Operations Department, Design Research Group

After gaining experience in various marketing research methodologies at Nielsen (a foreign research firm) and the research division of McCann Worldgroup (a foreign advertising agency), he joined a domestic UX design consulting firm. He engaged in UX design consulting for various products and services through UI/UX research and design research. He has conducted over 1,000 research projects, supporting client companies in solving challenges in product and service development. Currently at Dentsu Macromill Insight, Inc., he is responsible for research related to UI design and UX design. He is a Human-Centered Design (HCD) expert certified by HCD-Net.
