Become a Dance/Cooking PR Ambassador! Reduce Food Waste with Flavor Twists! "Nokosanshaka Shaka Dance/Recipe Challenge" Now Accepting Entries No Peko Lab

A project within Dentsu Inc. Sodegin (Social Design Engine), the "No Peko Lab," which aims to solve all issues related to "children and food," is now accepting video submissions for the "Nokosanshaka Shaka Dance/Recipe Challenge." This dance and recipe contest targets people of all ages and genders nationwide, including students, to raise awareness about reducing food waste through "flavor transformation." The top five teams selected in both the dance and recipe categories, based on factors like the number of "likes," will compete in the final judging at the online event "Nokoshan Dance Hall 2025" on Tuesday, September 9 (Goo Goo Day*). Supporters include the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; the Ministry of the Environment; the Consumer Affairs Agency; the Ministry of Children and Families; the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Environment; Minato City; and Koto City. The deadline is Sunday, August 31.

※September 9th is designated as "Goo-Goo Day" (officially recognized by the Japan Anniversary Association), a day for everyone to think about and take action on "children and food."
