Entries are now being accepted for the "PR Awards 2025," which recognizes the pinnacle of public relations and communications activities.
The Public Relations Society of Japan (PRSJ) began accepting entries for the "PR Awards 2025" starting Wednesday, August 20.

The PR Awards broadly solicit practical examples of Public Relations that have driven business and society through co-creation with the public, extending beyond the initiatives of corporate and organizational communications departments or PR firms. Through a judging process, they recognize and publicize outstanding activities representing Japan. The awards aim to further enhance the quality of communication techniques in Japan, contribute to human resource development, and promote a deeper understanding of Public Relations.
Its predecessor, the "PR Activity Commendation," began in 1961. After launching as the "PR Award Grand Prix" in 2001, this year marks its 25th anniversary, and it has been renamed the "PR Award" starting this year.
Regarding the judging panel, Tomoko Tagami (Synergy) has been appointed as the Chairperson. The full panel of 10 judges consists of public relations professionals, academics, and journalists. By evaluating diverse entries from multiple perspectives, the award aims to select the pinnacle of public relations and PR activities.
Entries submitted by September 15th benefit from an "Early Entry System," reducing the entry fee to less than half the standard rate. The deadline for early entries is Monday, September 15th. The final entry deadline is Wednesday, October 15th, 17:00 (must arrive by this time).

■About the Public Relations Society of Japan
The Public Relations Society of Japan (PRSJ) was established in 1980 through the merger of the Japan Public Relations Association (founded in 1964) and the Public Relations Industry Association (established in 1974). Its purpose is to explore contemporary approaches to public relations and to promote and disseminate PR knowledge. It is currently a professional organization for public relations (PR) professionals, composed of individual members including corporate and organizational communications departments, PR firms, advertising agencies, PR-related companies, and experts. It was certified as a Public Interest Incorporated Association in April 2012. Its main activities include educational programs such as "various training sessions" and "seminars," member networking events, publishing initiatives like "Association News" and "PR Handbook (PR Techo)," the "PR Awards" honoring outstanding PR cases, the "Person of the Year" award recognizing outstanding PR professionals, and the "Citizen of the Year" award honoring individuals or organizations contributing significantly to society or regional development. Through these activities, the association promotes the dissemination and awareness of public relations, enhances PR skills, and ensures ethical standards.
