PR Consulting Dentsu Inc. is accepting registrations for a webinar titled “What Is a ‘Company-Wide Response’ to Protect Your Company from Ransomware Attacks?—Learning from Case Studies: Collaboration and Preparedness Among IT, Public Relations, and Management,” to be held on Wednesday, September 16.

Cyberattacks, including ransomware, are no longer just a problem for the IT department. When an incident occurs, rapid cross-departmental coordination is required—not only for technical responses but also for management decisions, information disclosure, and communication both inside and outside the company.

In this webinar, we will examine actual incident cases to explain key countermeasures against cyberattacks and the proper approach to crisis management communications. We will explore the “company-wide response” necessary for an organization to act effectively in an emergency, as well as the preparations that should be in place during normal operations.

Nobuo Miwa
President and CEO, S&J
After serving as President and CEO of RACK, he founded S&J in November 2008. He launched the company in 1995 as a pioneer in Japan’s information security business and has led the information security industry ever since. Through his extensive experience responding to numerous incidents, he has developed practical insights into security measures and organizational structures. Recently, he has been developing EDR solutions utilizing generative AI. He has served in numerous roles, including Chief Information Security Advisor to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and member of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Industrial Cybersecurity Study Group.

Aiyuki Ikeda
Senior Consultant, Risk Management Department, Integrated Communications Bureau, PR Consulting Dentsu Inc.
After joining the company and working at the Kansai Branch, he has held his current position since July 2018. Leveraging his expertise in online public opinion formation—particularly on social media—and community trends, he provides services such as identifying early signs of reputational risk during normal operations, establishing risk management frameworks, and offering risk consulting during emergencies. He is also involved in corporate training programs.Areas of Expertise: Analysis of social media and online public opinion trends; reputation risk response. He is a member of the Cabinet Secretariat’s OS Function Investigation Committee and a member of the Education Subcommittee of the Japan Network Security Association.
