Toyota Motor Corporation held a PR event for its new Vitz model at various locations in Shibuya, Tokyo, on April 21. The vehicle features a new engine for improved fuel efficiency and a completely redesigned exterior. Sales commenced the same day under the catchphrase "Run, heart-pounding everyday."
At Marui City Shibuya, a flash mob performance took place where dancers, staff, and onlookers wearing the campaign's iconic yellow sneakers suddenly began dancing. On stage, the new Lumina Yellow Vitz was unveiled. When guest models Anne Nakamura and talent Dandy Sakano appeared, the crowd erupted in applause and cheers.
In front of Shibuya PARCO PART 1, a talk show featuring the guests was held. A giant "Yellow SneaCar" (Sneaker), embodying the "yellow sneakers = yellow new Vitz" concept alongside the Vitz, was also unveiled. Dandy, wearing his signature yellow outfit, said, "I want to take my kids to the sea and mountains," while Nakamura stated, "I want to go to the safari park with light footwork." Since the car is sold at NETZ dealerships, they both struck a pose declaring, "Get the Vitz at NETZ!" Flags promoting the car were displayed along Shibuya's main street, and vehicle exhibits were held at SHIBUYA109, turning the city yellow.

Aiming to support all runners and drivers, Netz dealerships launched the "RUN&DRIVE Netz with new balance Collaboration Campaign" starting the same day. They created original collaboration shoes featuring the sneaker brand New Balance and Netz colors. This limited model is only available through the campaign at Netz dealerships nationwide. Furthermore, an original collaboration Vitz car, inspired by these shoes, was created and displayed at Spainzaka Plaza on the day.
