The Japan Football Association (JFA) is running the "Dreams into Power 2014" project to spread the message of "the beauty of living by turning dreams into strength."
As part of this project, "Dreams into Power 2014: Japan's Largest City Dressing" is being implemented around Ochanomizu, Hongo, and Yushima in Tokyo's Bunkyo Ward, home to the Japan Football Museum. This large-scale city dressing features the heroic figures of SAMURAI BLUE (the Japan National Team) displayed through large graphics and other installations throughout the city.
Portraits of all 64 players who represented SAMURAI BLUE in international matches during the tenure of Head Coach Alberto Zaccheroni (October 2010 to March 2014) are featured. At Tokyo Medical and Dental University, near JR Ochanomizu Station, a large banner adorns the building's wall, while boards along the perimeter fence display messages featuring each player's dream. Large banners were also installed on the wall of Juntendo Hospital. At JFA House (Japan Football Association Building), images of players in dynamic motion, centered around Coach Zaccheroni, covered entire walls. Passersby in the blue-tinged city frequently stopped to gaze curiously and take photos. The project will continue until late July.
