Video Research Ltd. has compiled the results of its June 2014 "Character and Children's Market Survey" targeting children aged 3 to 12. The key highlight this time is that "Yōkai Watch" made its debut in the ranking of popular characters chosen by children, tying with Mickey Mouse for second place. This character's TV anime series just began airing this year. Meanwhile, the number one favorite remains "Doraemon," which has enjoyed unshakable popularity since the June 2009 survey.
