Dentsu Inc. and Lieben launch "hoppe," a healthcare communication service for electronic medication records.

On September 22, Dentsu Inc. launched the electronic medication record service "hoppe" in collaboration with Lebens. Dentsu Inc. is responsible for the advertising delivery aspect, which is central to the service's free provision. The goal is to have 10,000 pharmacies adopt the service within one year.

As electronic medication recordbooks, which allow users to record and manage prescribed medications on their smartphones, are replacing traditional paper-based recordbooks, "hoppe" stands out by incorporating communication features between pharmacies and patients—a capability absent in previous electronic recordbooks. Furthermore, its advertising-based distribution model means there are no costs for patients or pharmacies, making it accessible even for small and medium-sized pharmacies to consider adopting.
Future plans include adding electronic prescription functionality and announcing new initiatives such as integration systems with hospitals and clinics.
